I hereby vow to always wear costumes as a part of my career.
Every Halloween, Every "Showtime" I fall back in love with WEARING COSTUMES.
This Halloween, I went back to my parent's home for a few days and I brought back with me 2 giant boxes filled with costumes. What am I going to use them for? Isn't that a nice question- dressing up of course!
Each time you dress up in something out of the ordinary- it's like playtime!
For Halloween, I was Rosie the Riveter- and I didn't even go to a party, I just wore that costume to work. Ivan and I went out to lunch on Halloween and the restaurant was packed with normal looking people, and then a guy in a giant Kermit outfit, some dude in Aviators, and a girl in butterfly wings- and no one blinks twice about it on Halloween. Wouldn't it be great to dress crazy everyday!
Because it's November, and I have November Gratitudes: I am grateful for a husband who has only changed me for the better! I would hate to be that person who changed her personality and stopped having fun once she got married. I mean, I got married at 19, and I didn't miss a second of fun.
Here is a picture of me, just 2 weeks before I started dating Ivan..
Here is a picture Ivan took of me 5 months ago...
THANK YOU!!
For keeping my crazy and appreciating my interesting love of costumes.
We've got a lot of CRAZY living left, baby!
