This month, Ivan and I were asked to sing for a corporate gala hosted in La Quinta, Palm Springs, CA. We sang 3 different inspirational songs during their awards ceremony.
It turned out beautifully!
Such a fun and new concept- singing a few songs and then not being needed anymore, makes you really fall in love with this gig life!
We even got to stay longer at the resort, swim, go shopping and we went on a few hikes near the Indian reservation! Anytime I am back anywhere in Southern California, I just feel AT HOME! Like, this is my "place!" The weather was gorgeous and even nicer than here in Las Vegas! We finished our last night of "the job/aka Vacation" dining at a Mexican food Restaurant, claiming we were celebrating my birthday because - it was only a week away! They gave me churros and Ice Cream, about 4 refills of Diet Coke, and I didn't go to sleep until 2am that night. Boy, was I one happy girl!
