The Last and Best of the Old West

We lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for 2 summers performing at The Jackson Hole Playhouse
We performed in the Town Square Shootouts, where we get to shoot guns and fake die every afternoon in the street.  At the end of the shootout we "come back alive" and tell everybody to enjoy
Jackson Hole: "The Last and Best of the Old West! Yeeehhhaw!!"

I love Jackson so much because, Ivan proposed to me here, and we lived here right after we graduated college and we were out on out own!!  We spent two nights here and nothing had changed, I totally loved it!!  We spent one day in Jackson with my brother who was nearby, because he has the coolest job ever this summer: the Lake Lodge at Yellowstone National Park!

Here is my brother in both his habitats: Hiker and Front Desk Employee of the Month:

Isn't he cute?

So, before we dropped off my sister, we headed for the park to meet my entire family and reunite in West Yellowstone!  We hibernated, went to the Grizzly and Wolf reserve, saw most all of our favorite geysers, lodges and wildlife, ate too much,  squished in a car as we drove and drove and napped and got on each others nerves, the usual family reunion stuff, and hibernated some more.

Jackson, West Yellowstone and the park, are old-fashioned, small and charming.  I'm sure living here would get really boring, so a visit is the way to go! After all, it is the Last and Best of the Old West!
yeehaw!
