And yes, it was Halloween in Las Vegas with my beautiful and talented performer friends- so hilarity and craziness ensued.
Ivan was a Gorilla (with a human body) and I was an 80s girl! Our friends were: Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad, A Sailor, Madhatter and a Pirate :) As you can see we were a very colorful bunch!
I have ALWAYS loved Halloween and Ivan loves it even more! As actors, we love dressing up in costumes- i love make-up! Plus, I love candy so its a win-win. Unfortunately, I am too old to trick-or-treak and due to lack of a home, there was no pumpkin carving, pumpkin seed cooking, treats, scary-movies, etc. We did Halloween, Vegas style.
Las Vegas is, in my opinion, the most wicked city in the world. Wicked is an appropriate word to use on Halloween, but mainly i just mean BAD. Pretty much everything that you have ever been told NOT TO drink, wear, do and act like was happening in Las Vegas last night. We went to a super classy club, gorgeous views of the strip and it was decorated well. But, growing up in an LDS home, studying at BYU and being, for the most part, pretty sheltered, I couldn't stay at the club for very long and luckily a couple people agreed so we left and went to a diner. I got red velvet pancakes, yum =) We have awesome friends and we have a great time with them and they always make us feel included :) Here's what I mean SO, I can be Mormon and have a good time!
