We return
to Venice several times while we are cruising and one thing I had on my Venice
to-do list was Burano Island. Here are
some of the comments I heard beforehand:
“Everywhere
you look is a photo opportunity”
“It’s
like walking into a postcard”
“All the
houses are so colorful and amazing, it’s worth the trip!”
Burano is
an island north of Venice and it takes about 1 hour by waterbus. Here is the map.
Here we
are on the waterbus!
As you
can see, all the critiques I got on Venice were right. Every home really is a different color! Ivan and I walked around a photographed all
over Burano or about an hour and a half!
