Zlatni Zar Beach in Brac, Croatia

A 45-minute ride on a speedboat from Hvar to Brac- both islands in Croatia. Croatia is called the Dalmatian Coast because it’s over 1,000 islands makes it look spotted on a map.  Hvar is one of the most popular islands and is very popular among tourists.  It is pretty small and this year, all of the Med has been pretty cold, including Croatia.  Brac is also a small but popular island and the main city is Bol.  There is not much there, but about one mile away is Zlatni Zar beach, one of the best beaches in Croatia.  It has small rocks that are comfortable under your toes and the sun is strong and the water is clear.  It was beautiful!  I laid out for about 20 minutes and had to get in the water.  It was still pretty cold so I just waded and I found a starfish!  We also found some rocks and skipped them.  It was very simple, but really a nice day.  It’s amazing to be at the beaches on the Dalmatian Coast and go swimming in the Adriatic Sea!  I grew up right by Malibu Beach so I have always loved going.  Beauty is all over the world J

Croatia is a pretty amazing place.  The main cities on the mainland are: Pula, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik (in order from left to right.)  We have been to 3 out of 4 and they’re all lovely.  I highly recommend a trip to Croatia!
